New paths and better bike access near Kenton

From BikePortland.org

Oregon 99W Victory Blvd – N Argyle St Project

denver-schmeer-detail-large

This is way cool for folks headed to PIR for racing as well as users of the Denver Avenue Viaduct and the Columbia Slough multi-use path.

From the ODOT official project page.

BENEFITS
The paving and bridge work will extend the life of the bridges and roadway. Pedestrians and bicyclists will
enjoy facilities that will have better connectivity in the Delta Park area as well as to the 40 Mile Loop. The
realignment of N. Schmeer Road and addition of the traffic signal will allow for a safer right turning movement
for drivers continuing northbound on N. Denver Avenue and eliminate the 1 mile out-of-direction travel for
drivers going southbound on N. Denver Avenue. The project improvements will create a safer experience in
the corridor for all users.

Revolver Bikes continues to support the Bicycle Transportation Alliance!

BTA Members receive a 10% discount on parts and accessories at Revolver Bikes.

The Bicycle Transportation Alliance is a non-profit membership organization working to promote bicycling and improve bicycling conditions in Oregon.

Since 1990, the BTA has worked in partnership with citizens, businesses, community groups, government agencies, and elected officials to create communities where people can meet their daily transportation needs on a bike.

The Bicycle Transportation Alliance creates healthy, sustainable communities by making bicycling safe, convenient and accessible.

Bicycling transforms communities by reinventing transportation and offering solutions for the universal challenges facing health, livability and the environment.

The BTA offers several program models designed to bring education services to our students, to train our teachers, and to encourage students and families to walk and bike to school.

Surly Krampus 29+ bikes now available at Revolver Bikes

Several staff members purchased Krampus bikes earlier this spring.  We are riding them as highly custom do all town machines,  overland end of days survival contraptions,  single track rippers with somewhat fancy pants custom bits, as well as few straight stock right otta-da-box.

Dang theses bikes are a blast!  We only have a few new models left at the shop, but with all the staff bikes we should be able to get you fit and psyched for your very own Krampus super happy fun times!

Stop by to visit with Revolver staff about how the Kick ASS Surly Krampus could work for your off road needs.
